Deep dive into Python
The course is prepared by Dr. Anton Miglo. Anton has a lot of expereince of teaching python-related courses in top universities around the world. His basic education is in economic cybernetics and he has PhD in economics/finance. Learn from Anton how to use python in finance. 8 lessons. About 3 hours total. Includes a mix of online materials, videos and python files. No preliminary knowledge is required.
What will you learn
This course is to introduce the techniques used to effect information extraction. Using Python, this course guides how to access web data, pre-process data, implement natural language processing and perform textual analysis. The applications to Finance and Fintech are discussed and demonstrated. The course consist of 8 sessions. For each session students will have a video recording available, PPT slides and a set of questions/exercises with solutions.
Python is one of the most useful tools for analyst in finance and fintech.
